A lot has changed since the days of "The Quiz Kids, but the film brought out some good basic points. Even today, there are many children in our country who who would be undernourished if not for the school breakfast and lunch programs.

The first half of this seems to be a recreation of a popular quiz show of the the time period, "Quiz KIds" where the host asks the kids questions. Whether they're this advanced or whether the kids give these scientific answers is questionable. Anyways, this goes on for a bit (maybe too long) until the final third of the film, when it shifts to why supplying school bound kids a hot lunch is a good idea. The two halves don't really gel, but this is what it is.
