It's like 1940's serials, a bit cheesy at times, but this story is so right for Today. The villains are exactly like the Illuminati, Rothschilds. Trying to takeover the world thru destruction of countries. Children are victimized, too. Even aliens are concerned about Earth's Nuclear weapons which you see talk about on some cryptic youtube channels.Uncanny how this is on par.with Today.Anyway, the aliens send Starman, basically a Japanese Superman, a superman of the Fleischer cartoon era where his strength is more down to Earth. This movie isn't too bad. It's quite fine actually. I wasn't bored.

Not bad, but not great. It's no "Manos" by any means. Has the usual plot holes, but also has good pacing and a decent plot. We also get a glimpse into an increasingly bland modern world. Well, at least the cars were still exciting.

I expected cheesy, and it was, but there were some things that were refreshing, like some of the effects were better than most in American films of the same genre and time (Check out Star Man flying right into a second floor window, or flying above a moving car- Tricky stuff!!) Plus, it was just plain different. Some of the worst stuff was at least worth a laugh. I don't think I ever saw any of these as a kid, but it wouldn't have hit me the way it does now. I liked it fine.
