Synopsis
An evil, sadistic count lives in a waterfront castle with his insane family members. One day the survivor of a shipwreck washes ashore near the castle and finds himself a captive there.

Wow. This one was a bottom of the barrel wunderkind almost for the sheer fact it was committed to celluloid. This is a near clunker in my book, since it was slow, kind of a controlled haphazard about it, and the acting isn't great. Watch only once then move on. Classic Clunker enthusiasts will be interested in how it plays out, like I was. But near clunker is apropos in this case at least.

then forced myself to stay awake and watch the rest. Pretty terrible film. It did, however, have a twist ending that I wasn't expecting. All in all though one of the most badly acted films I have ever seen. Wouldn't recommend it.

And I say it again, "This is the worst movie I've ever seen!" Not in a fun way. Some movies are so bad they're fun, THIS AIN'T ONE!! With special effects, like a diorama for the ship in the storm scene, that would get a third grader a D in grade school, sets made with cardboard boxes and cans of spray paint that look like they were shot in someone's garage, and such continuity blunders like flintlocks that fire twice without reloading, this movie has absolutely no redeeming qualities about it! I was intrigued because of the "written and directed by comic book artist". Well, I was bored 20 minutes in. So I didn't watch all of the movie. I'm sure this movie has some merit. But not for me.
