...if it weren't for you meddling kids. Funny movie for it's time, not grade "A", but ok. This could have been an episode of Scooby Doo. Definitely not a horror, comedy all the way through.

The East Side Kids vs. Bela Lugosi. Lugosi doesn't have much to do in the film apart from tell his goons they're idiots. The East Side Kids slap each other around, murder the English language, and sing a song. It's easy to tell this movie was shot in six days, but it's harmless fun. The other commentator was right in that it's essentially a "Scooby-Doo" episode. Three stars for Lugosi completists and for it being Ava Gardner's first credited film role.
