Fran Striker created The Lone Ranger and other early characters like The Green Hornet. Striker is considered the greatest creator of early radio & TV superheroes. He died in 1962, and sadly this series came after his death. In his prime Fran Striker is said to have penned 60,000 words per week... all on a manual typewriter. Try one if you've never used a manual typewriter as you need some serious finger strength. A movie about Fran Striker is overdue!
