Sure, the plot is not the most opaque and the continuity is not the greatest, but I must admit that I really enjoyed this movie. None of the painfully unrealistic flight and flighdeck scenes usually found in these movies. The set was actually quite convincing and the acting was much better than expected. I think this is well worth a watch.

Another Spelling/Goldberg production that I dig. Something about the atmosphere of airline dramas in the 1970's that blends together so well. The charms of Robert Stack, Farrah Fawcett, and even Sony Bono make this a pleasant movie to watch late at night. Sure, it's dated and cheesy, but that's a GOOD thing if you have fond memories growing up in that decade, as I do. But in all honesty, I think "The Langoliers" is a lot more cheesy than this is.

This is exactly the king of made for TV films from the 1970s I particuliarly like: silly plot full of unbelievable twists and turns, cheap production values and a bunch of small time has-beens hamming it up like hell. But don't get me wrong: It's a very enjoyable bad film. Any minute, you expect a deliberate gag to make it a pre-"Airplane" spoof. Which is close to be one considering stars Robert Stack and Sonny Bono both came to be part of this comedic franchise later. Old fashioned and cheezy but great fun!

An "Airport"-style murder mystery with too many suspects. The storyline stretches credibility. Most of the time I was slightly bored by this movie. There are some Highlights. Yes, Walter Pidgeon is one of them.

Standard Hollywood airliner passenger list except that the cute little girl flying to get a kidney transplant is missing. Definitely entertaining.
