Talmadge came to the U.S. as part of an acrobatic troupe and stayed on to make films and become a stuntman and stunt coordinator, second unit director and writer. He certainly could jump from building to building, but was a terrible actor and his voice - sort of a high-pitched teenage voice - certainly didn't help matters. In this film he spends most of his screen time looking like he has an upset stomach. Janet Chandler was adorable, but an equally bad actor.
