Synopsis
A young boy in a small town turns to a life of crime. After serving a prison sentence, he returns home determined to go straight but finds himself being blackmailed into a safecracking operation at a bank--organized by his romantic rival, who is planning to set him up to go back to prison again.

A young man (Regis Toomey) upon being released from prison, returns to his mother and girlfriend who think he has been leading an adventurous life in Australia. The deception works, but a rival for his girl's affections lies in wait with evil intentions. Regis Toomey, never a particularly dynamic actor, is extra bland in this role. The rest of the cast is so-so. Stodgy direction slows everything down, and 51/2 missing minutes make one plot element confusing and leave it unresolved. No chills. No thrills.
