Isn't it creepy that these girls are in their late teens, yet their hairstyles make them look like 40 year olds? Yikes! Not enough Coca-Cola products in the world to make that look attractive ... You know, I just figured out what this video was missing .... someone getting drenched in pig's blood and chaos ensuing ....

At 65 years old I've just attended my very first prom. Sure were a lotta well-dressed hillbillies there. Very useful film if you were the prom type (I wasn't). But would a school actually show this film? I can't imagine it.

this may be the definative film on the USA Prom social event. This film is faultlessly photographed and directed .The actors and participants behave with impecable good manners..In its own way, this film is a classic,but unfortunately I viewed it with TOTAL BOREDOM

this beautiful film, suffers from getting boring after a while. still, it's a nice little film, with alot of wonderful footage.great for footage, but sadly gets very boring.

"When the dance ends, Lee applauds the orchestra. Judy chooses not to," says our film hostess. Orchestra! They're playing stock music from a library in the background (I have the cue but can't find it). The prom they attend is overly sedate, overly regulated, overly white. The yokel accents seem so out of place. The first two minutes are spent on voice-over footage of the Junior Miss Pageant, which really has nothing to do with the rest of the film. There's plenty of Coke on hand, thanks to the film's sponsor.
