What happened to the baby that Mary's mom is having at the beginning of the film? You never see him or her and later when we see Mom setting the table (when Lucille is leaving) she's setting the table for only three... Other than that, it's a funny but ironic film. It's naive and innocent and yet current religious right would have big problems with this.

Surprisingly good, except for a for questionable spots, about a girls and boys attitudes of, well, boys and girls and what it means to have a relationship. Here we follow Bob and Mary. We watch them grow up. Mary has a nice Mom and Dad and Bob has a widowed Mom. We follow each other's upbringing and how important Mom and Dad were for advice in bringing their kids up properly. I found this film wonderful, and I cheered (well, quietly lol) when the two finally got together. Best bits: Bob's Mom 'Arranges situations' if no questions about sex came up. Actually a pretty entertaining short as opposed to most of the cheese churned out on this very exploit ridden subject during the Ike era. Needs a follow up in the early 60's however, as we watch Bob drift towards that new secretary hire at the office by the name of Lola..and Mary having eyes for the Troy Donahue lookalike wannabe down the block known as " Big Stan " ***interesting note is the production is a Canadian product.

How many fucking phases is she going to go through before she's even 17? I sorta fell asleep, and by 10 minutes I was waiting to hear about Mary, now married 30 years, being asked to do "oral" on her now 53 yr old husband no longer interested in missionary position. Whoa! Something she never bargained for! "You want me to do what?" Never happened. They must've ran out of film.
