Synopsis
Jean Preston is determined to find her fiancée, Greg Jones, who went on a safari and didn’t come back when expected. She travels to Akbar, India with Greg’s father, Colonel Jones, Wayne Monroe and the Professor. She asks about Jones at the front desk of the hotel where she stays.

I thought this was going to be the typical go find riches flick and people fall in love, but it had a nice bitch twist from the chick in the jungle.

Schlock producer/distributor Robert Lippert strikes again with another sixty-minute audience swindle. New footage of a ridiculous, disjointed story was tacked onto clips from any silent films that happened to be lying around. The acting in the new footage is dismal, but to give the cast its due, most of the dialog is undeliverable with a straight face. “Queen of the Amazons” doesn’t deserve even two stars, but I’m giving it three because this one must be seen to be believed. What the hell. It only takes an hour, and if you had anything better to do, you wouldn’t be reading this review.…

Yes, here he is in all his glory. I think Lippert must have been Roger Corman's idol. All the below critiques are spot-on: bad dialogue, plot that makes no sense, narration over previously used footage to advance the movie, bad costuming, a scorn for indigenous people... it's all here and it's fantastic!! Three stars for B-Movie status.

This was your typical old safari movie. Stiff acting, oomgawa, me Tarzan you Jane type of language for the natives. There were plenty of animal and nature shots as a filler of course. The old somebody went on a safari and hasn't been heard from in months so lets form our own search party and find them routine. Yes, I would most likely watch it again in I was ever in a jungle mood. Three stars was all I could muster for this film but all in all, it wasn't too bad.

I'll just add that I enjoy old safari movies, mostly because I remember the wonder I felt as a child when I first SAW these strange animals and these far-off places. There were STILL lots of blank places on the map and anything seemed possible. But before even seeing this movie I would have given Zita, the Amazonian Queen a "head's up".
