Leif Erickson, known for many years as a rugged he-man type in films and television returns to the screen after WWII with this pulp fiction film and with a bang. This film has been panned to death, but in it's own way is quite good. For a jungle picture, the random stock footage of wild animals is at a minimum. The white 18 year old jungle girl with the operatic voice is somewhat over the top, but believable in the context of the story. Veda Ann Borg gets an honorable mention for the cool, seductive role as a lonely, frustrated wife of Douglas Dumbrille the villain of the piece. Frank Jenks…
