This is a very good movie based on a story by Zane Grey. It is more of a mystery than a western. Randolph Scott heads a good cast, which includes Ann Sheridan as the romantic interest. It was filmed in the Big Bear Lake and Valley areas in the San Bernardino Mountains in California.
