I feel like this film has been mis-categorized in the archive on the basis of its independent production --it's production values are so thoroughly exploitative psycho schlock it ranks for me right up there with the best of the boomlet of 'Bad Seed' drive-in features of the 70s. In all seriousness this film is one of a cache to be found here that the allow real insight into the amount of inanity which scriptwriters could be depended upon to dole out in place of medical treatment of psychological disorders. This film could have simply turned out to be an early progenitor of Stephen King-type…

I agree not as bad as some others said it was. The kid looked the psycho type the minute you see him, not bad acting though not from the top . league. Violence etc quite disturbing really, his character must have been based on some serial killer of that time frame. Anyone got any idea who ?? Worth watching, there are a lot worse films out there.

I found this movie dreadfully dull, especially since the villain was such a wimpy, impotent dweeb. It's just a bloody reworking of "Psycho" that didn't even have any camp appeal which can save a bad movie. The only clever or artistic shot in the whole film is the final wide-angle pull-away shot in the church.

Psycho boy kills daddy; gets hurt. Comes home, mama is remarried, so psycho boy kills them both and runs away. Psycho boy meets lots of people, whose sole contribution to the movie is to be killed by psycho boy. So he kills them, then kidnaps whore-with-heart-of-gold. And then does stuff to her. Um, that's about it so far. Haven't made it to the ending yet, but my trusty FF control will have me there soon.
