Synopsis
Billy and his pals, on the run from the law again, travel to Sage Valley where Billy is made Sheriff. The local outlaw gang is run by Kansas Ed who closely resembles Billy. Ed captures Billy and changing clothes with him, now plans to run the town as Sheriff.

Another PRC entry in the series starring Buster Crabbe (Billy the Kid), Al St. John (Fuzzy Jones and, here, Tex (Dave( O'Brien (Jeff Travis). The plot, script and acting are a little above average, except for the usual stupid antics they have St. John go through, although there are, fortunately, few in this film. Nevertheless, too much of St. John's whining and complaining, knocking people out with head butts or by kicking them - as if that were humorous - and saying the wrong thing at the wrong time - PRC evidently thought that the young kids that made up the Saturday matinee audience would…
