Synopsis
A respected war correspondent is found murdered, with three bullets--from three different guns--in him. Three different men are arrested, convicted and sentenced to death for the murder, but only one can be the actual killer. A criminologist sets out to find who is really guilty.

Sing Sing Nights isn't one of Keeler's crazier works - in fact it's relatively normal as to plot. The story's major claim to fame is one of the earliest uses of a lie detector as plot device. This is overall a pretty competent film considering the time, source, studio and subject. I was impressed with the quality and number of sets, since Monogram often relies on a few cheap looking rooms and back lot scenes, and happy to see Lotus Long in one of her all-too-few film roles.
