Synopsis
Fast-rising nightclub singer, Angie Evans, interrupts her career to marry struggling songwriter Ken Conway. When Ken lucks into a career as a chart-topping radio crooner, Angie's forced into idle luxury which proves her downfall. Her alcoholism grows ever more and Ken remains clueless concerning his part in her problems.

This addresses alcoholism and many other underlying issues. My sister had her house burn down when my nieces were babies then again about 10 yrs ago and just a few weeks ago a house across the street from her burned down and a man died in it after screaming for help and my sister was there to hear it all. She's past alcoholism, but these things can dig really deep into peoples souls while others act like all you have to do is to suck it all up. I need to call my sister now to make sure she's OK..
