For any fan of z movies thia is a must-see. I am overjoyed this flick survived. I laughed through the whole thing, then watched it twice more. The faults with the quality only add to the ambience of the piece. You will groan and moan and laugh and thoroughly enjoy yourself!

Fun loving, wholesome teenagers become entangled in a commie plot to turn Americans into zombies. For a low budget b-movie this is pretty good compared to many I've seen. The acting is poor and there are several continuity problems, but the story is coherent except of course for the scientific dialog. The scientist in charge of the zombies dresses in evening gowns whether outside shepherding them or working in the lab. Plus there's a funny fight scene towards the end. I downloaded the mpeg1 file. I've seen worse, much worse. The saving graces were the tres chic female villain and the hilariously choreographed fight scene at the end.

This is a dreadful film. The zombies are classic drugged slave labor zombies-not the back-from-the-dead-to-eat-your-brain kind. The teenage zombies of the title are "zombified" for less than 3 minutes at nearly the END of the film. The island is supposed to be some 30 miles from land, but in several shots of the shoreline, you can clearly see that it is about 200 yards away. This film must have been made as one of those pictures where the youth of the day went to make out in the back row, knowing most adults would steer clear of this stinker.
