I saw this cartoon satire of Sherlock Holmes on TV probably about 1959 (when I was 14) and thought it lost forever. Just as with other films and cartoons (such as the old, original Tom & Jerry), it has resurfaced on IA. This one is as screwy as it intends to be, is fast and funny with a surprise ending. What happened to "Combs?" You'll have to figure that out for yourself. JohnMc

From Columbia Pictures in 1944. This Sherlock Holmes take-off cartoon, is funny and just nuts enough to get you laughing. Bloody good little cartoon. Was there more like it, I couldn't say. Enjoy.
