This is an excellent film on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, showing the passion, enthusiasm and commitment of the great man. Also somewhat poignant as it took place only three years before his passing at the age of 71 on 7 July 1930 at Windlesham in Crowborough, where this interview took place. Sad, but not altogether surprising, that a lot of the "conventional wisdom" about him and his commitment to Spiritualism continues to be trotted out without any substance to back it up, exemplified by the earlier reviewer who referred to "irrational spiritualism" - very easy to stick on a label and then…
