I have to agree with the other reviewers - a laughable because bad diamond theft, murder mystery, shipwreck, tropical island, tropical birds (on the soundtrack), big ape and shipwrecked illiterate jungle man with a taste for skeletal companions, not there for humor, but funny nevertheless (Mischa Auer in an early and awful role) , beautiful women (at least there was something for the male viewers to look at), an alcoholic (played by Arthur Housman, who specialized in drunk roles - and possibly the best thing about the film). Oh yes, and a surprise ending you knew was coming from the start.…
