I discovered this little gem via a streaming service, where it was categorized as horror/sci-fi. It really isn't. It's a tightly plotted murder mystery, and you're kept off-balance by more red herrings than in a fish market. And the misdirection caused me to eventually trust no one in the story -- at least not until the final minutes. Low-budget, to be sure, but the results transcend the movie's bargain-basement heritage.
