This film won't be for everyone, but I found it to be extremely effective in building tension and being eerie and unsettling. I was frankly a bit frightened at some parts, and I felt that the film did an excellent job of keeping me in its grip of mystery throughout. Because it is a low budget film, it does have a few technical problems, mostly poor audio. In spite of this I give this film my approval because it has a genuinely spooky atmosphere both visually and in regard to the synthesizer sound effects used. This film is actually pretty creepy toward the end. There are some elements of this film that are similar to elements in Evil Dead II such as: trails in the woods changing, clocks behaving oddly, creative use of smoke, a spooky cellar, spirit communication and a few others. I hope others enjoys it.

This not nearly as bad as most low budget films. It has an actual plot. The actors, even though they are grade D-, do try to giveit their all. The sound and the camera work are atrocious, though. It will do.

This is a hard one for me to review, if only because I"m of two minds about it. The directing is terrible. People stare into the lens - or just off-lens - for what seems like an eternity, and for no obvious reason. The sound doesn't always sync up with the scenes, and it's hard to figure whether some of the sounds you hear are soundtrack background or something the actors are supposed to be hearing. The 'night' scenes are difficult to make out, and many of the cuts don't line up scenes properly. And it's not like this is a 'so-bad-that-it's-good type movie - it's played too straight for that…

The ending was disappointing..Really bad. Up to that point was kind of interesting. Reminded me of an early Dan Curtis/Dark Shadows type film. Too bad the writers didn't put more thought into the production especially the ending. Horror movie lovers might appreciate it.
