I passed this movie up many times since it was rated with only 3 stars. But I finally tried it and boy was i glad. This movie is a good black and white movie. The girls have furs to die for and the actors are good enough, but I was glad to see Hugh Beaumont act as a mad man, I only knew him as June's husband. He is mean and nasty, the story is good.

I watched the first 10 minutes or so of this about there weeks ago; But i forgot about it until i started watching it again. Wow this was a great Noir talk about double crossing. I never for one split second thought Hugh Beaumont was the killer. And it seems from the ending that Lucky own up to his name, and strange as it seem the leading lady was not distraught, but relieved. Great Movie Hakuna

Not a bad little film. Could have done without the songs, but since a lot of the action takes place in a Night Club it's understandable. The ever-lovely Mary Beth Huges, this time as a brunette, is super-solid in her role as the "bride-to-be". Always one of the "hottest-chicks-on-the-B-Screen", she doesn't disappoint here either. AND, please, get a close look at those LUSCIOUS LIPS of hers !! It doesn't get any better than that !!! Hugh Beaumont gives a performance that the "Beav" wouldn't be allowed to see ! Bad to the bone. The movie drags on, a bit, but in the end is revealing. I grew up with "Leave it to Beaver", so this movie was a real find. I will certainly keep it on my list, and suggest to a few childhood friends. Internet Archive is the absolute best. I contribute often, as should all other listeners!
