I am big fan of classic horror and especially Hammer movies not just their horror movies either. This is one of their best. Peter Cushing is great as always and Forest Tucker was great choice as big hunter. The story is well written directed and acted. The scenery and background are very good for a non CGI movie. The best part is the mystery of the Yetti and there is no blood and gore and you only get a glimpse of the creature! This is great movie making unlike the garbage made today.

I have to say the colorized version seems to add to the satisfying atmosphere in this movie. It isn't sophisticated color, almost like a comic book palette but it just fits like a glove and is grand enough. The LOUD and overbearing depiction of the American opportunists is spot on to the point of being embarrassing. Very eerie feeling throughout and the set of the monastery is superb!
