Synopsis
British reporters suspect an international cover-up of a global disaster in progress... and they're right. Hysterical panic has engulfed the world after the United States and the Soviet Union simultaneously detonate nuclear devices and have caused the orbit of the Earth to alter, sending it hurtling towards the sun.

I cannot speak more highly of this particular film. I would like to thank the magnificent Internet Archive for preserving this film in such a clean version. It is a work of true brilliance, suspense, romance and adventure. The film is virtually unknown as near as I can tell in America and probably in Britain as well nowadays. It is my favorite End of the World movie. I would put it up there with any other End of the World movie, believing personally that it is the best; certainly any discerning viewer would place it among the very best.
