The plot is described by other reviewers. It's hard to swallow but it doesn't matter: the script is full of nice touches and interesting complications. Cecilia is especially charming and likable.

Fun little mystery about a new cop who is framed for a murder he didn't commit! The bad guy disguised his face and used his voice! He tries to escape, unfortunately a train wreck happens and then he finds a convenient way to swap identities with a dead passenger. This kept my interest through the movie, even though it was a tiny bit implausible and the ending seems sort of rushed, but well worth the watch.

A gangster flick like this feels pretty dated now, but this script offers some clever twists, both in the main throughline of the wronged cop trying to prove his innocence and in the romantic sub-plot.

The Frame-up is rather clever and interesting. However pacing becomes as serious issue in the latter half of film as the tension seems to diminish. The actor playing the lead character Terry is also dull as dish water.
