Synopsis
A scientist takes the brain of dead man and revives it via electrodes as it lays suspended in a tank of liquid. Soon, the brain grows to possess enormous psychic powers and inflicts its personality upon the doctor who saved it, creating a "Jekyll and Hyde" paradigm.

The novel by Curt Siodmak (of 'The Wolfman' fame) is a classic that began a new genre of sci-fi. The author had no involvement in the movie and wrote it off as a lame rewrite of his novel. It's fun to see Nancy Reagan's tremendous head, as large as Charlie Brown's, relative to the body.
