A light-weight western-mystery that lasts under a hour, with very little mystery, a spunky young lady, a sadly stereotypical of that time African-American scared of his own shadow and the Range Busters threesome. Here the Range Busters are vocalist John "Dusty" King, David Sharpe, who gets replaced early on by Rex Lease, and ventriloquist Max "Alibi" Terhune and his dummy Elmer. Julie Duncan, the obligatory beautiful woman and sometime love interest was a National Champion horsewoman in the Steeplechase for 4 or 5 years.
