This movie held my attention, but I don't think I'd watch it again. I'm not sure that the concept of the underworld working to catch the perpetrator translated plausibly (culturally speaking) from the German original.

halifax3k : Considering what guys like that do to guys like him in prison, it's probably one of the more plausible aspects of the story. I think it translates just fine, but the talent, overall, is inferior to the original .. not bad, just not nearly as good.
