Synopsis

Producer Bob Temple, who's brought an American show to London, loves his star Diana, but she won't take him seriously as a lover. To show her, he picks up stranger Lady Arlington, whose financier husband neglects her. On a weekend at the Arlington country house, Bob is used by both Lady A. and her friend to make their husbands jealous; this works all too well, and Bob is in danger from both husbands.

This is not a bad Benny film. Like his other lesser known films, he made little reference to this in his radio show. He was always talking about The Horn Blows At Midnight in his self deprecating style. Benny did films other than that and To Be Or Not To Be. Up in the Air with Ted Healy is my personal fav but there are others like Man About Town that are well worth watching. Benny had been in other musicals e.g. The Big Broadcast series. Eddie Rochester Anderson has some nice bits in this picture. Rochester had showed up for an audition for a part that Frank Nelson was too busy to do. Frank…
