I thought it was decent. I always liked Edward Arnold, and wasn't disappointed here. I don't see the comparison with "Executive Suite." They're entirely different stories and E.S. came out a year after this. This is more about "salt of the earth" work ethic. Great scene where Edwards who runs the plant like a tyrant goes down to do some manual labor and finds it nostalgic & rewarding. Not the "best" picture ever, but far from the worst, and worth a look.

Coming out at the end of 1953, this picture tries but fails to be like the William Holden hit for MGM "Executive Suite", but fails on every point. It's an independant production filmed on the then nearly dormant RKO Radio lot. As a "B" film loaded with "B" actors, it also fails as a showcase for Edward Arnold (an old time star) and John Agar (a young but no longer promising star on the rise). Just a dud. No two ways about it. Fit for the bottom of the bill at most local theatres and drive-ins of the day. Skip it unless you really are starved something to watch.
