Synopsis
A story of love, humor and drama against the background of America's "Biggest Little City." An (interrupted) indiscretion by John Wyatt with a floozy prompts his wife, June, to make a trip to Reno, Nevada in order to get a quickie six-week-waiting-period divorce. John, penitent over his past actions (since he got caught), follows his wife to Reno and manages a reconciliation after a murder gives him a chance to prove his true devotion.

A perfect print, good sound, beautiful party scenes, I really liked it. This was Miss Valli's final film; she married Charles Farrell and retired to Palm Springs. A rare appearance by Dixie Lee and she seemed to have her Tennessee accent under control. Fun role for Miss Christy. She was too tall to be a big star but she knew her business and always delivered. In four years she would play the doomed Queen Tika in the serial "The Phantom Empire". Her best role but probably not what she wanted for a legacy!

The old black and white movies of the 1930's are usually good, but this one is grand. It's Reno, there's quality entertainment in the Reno nightclubs. Fine furniture, clothes, jewelry. This movie had very good acters of drunkards, I laughed a few times. It went by fast, I only had two gin fizzes and poof it was over! The ending is the only bad thing about this one. Really!
