Vincent's wimpy hamming it up does get a little trying, but the transformation into his demented father ego is all the more unnerving because of the contrast. Screenplay by the guy who wrote "I Am Legend". Corman and Price really found a cash cow with these Poe titled films. Certainly a classic, of its kind.
