Despite having worked for the French film company Pathé Frères, early film director and cinematographer Segundo de Chomòn actually came from Spain before becoming involved in film production. As a result, a good amount of his earliest work for the Pathé company were documentaries on his birth city Barcelona, where he soon became involved shooting travelogues of the place and of other various cities in Spain (such as Girona and Toledo). In releasing these travelogues, Pathé would be making money…
