Synopsis
Inspector Cassin, a renowned Paris detective, departs to the country for a much-needed break. There he falls in love with the innkeeper’s daughter, Nanette, who is already betrothed to a local farmer. On the evening of their engagement party, Nanette and the farmer both disappear. Cassin takes up the case immediately to discover what happened to them and who is responsible.

Not to deter from how good a movie this is, but to see Geray as such a great lead character doubles the pleasure of this film, and is the stand-out aspect of this film. In a very good storyline with a great twist, Geray gives a command performance. With his daft nuance of humility, he is both confident and critical of himself, making this very good picture something much much more. Don't Miss this...😲!!!!
