Synopsis
Nazi spies use a stolen shortwave transmitter prototype to broadcast top secret shipping info to an offshore Japanese sub. To nab the spy ring, the Government has the West Coast's top radio engineers fired and shadowed to see if the Nazis recruit them to complete work on the prototype radio. Radio engineer Lew Deerhold, a resident alien without a job to pay for his adorable little ward Gina's life-saving operation, falls prey to the spy ring, and is swept up in a maelstrom of deceit and danger.

Some guy gets run over by a tractor at the very beginning. If you miss that you have to wait awhile for more action. The music is very exciting when nothing is happening, it's funny.

PLOT: shortwave radio helps the Axis powers sink our ships during World War2. An out of work engineer finds his German birth looses him jobs after the start of World War 2. He is hired to build a " short wave radio" but he needs the job as his sweet little niece is very ill and in the hospital. RICHARD ARLEN) is the engineer and his lady friend is ( WENDY BARRIE) he soon finds is an FBI agent. Soon he makes a very good short wave but realizes his new job is "helping" the NAZI and JAPANSES subversives who are using his new SET to signal a Japanese Sub off the short and sink TANKERS so badly…

To triangate the position of the radio transmitter the peopple running the radio direction finders would have to provide a direction by using degrees form their position, ie 090 degrees for location one , 270 degrees for location 2 etc, then where the three bearings cross is the radio tranmitters position, it is not possible to triangleate a position by direction such as north by nothwest, east by west, south by south west, the words are not pricise enough
