Though it may not have the mad splendor of the James Whale adaptation, Joe May's THE INVISIBLE MAN RETURNS is a satisfying sequel. Price channels Rain's fervor, and the effects certainly deserve their Oscar nod. Among the Universal, imagi-movie follow-ups, this one holds a spot close to the top.
