Synopsis
To make an honest woman of his pregnant sister, Rosalie, callous New York mobster Phil Regal intimidates witnesses and bribes a store clerk to get Rosalie’s condemned boyfriend, Nicky Bradna, out of prison. But Regal’s meddling deeds soon backfire.

Regarding colorization · Movies from the Past · 2025-09-28
Thanks for your kind comments. Regarding the colorization, I personally enjoy the artistic side of cinematography and the way it shows in b&w movies (the stylized balance of dark and light – especially in German Expressionist films and film noir). However, it is statistically proven that the younger generations do not watch b&w films (they don’t even bother to look at them). So I thought that if I introduced the colorized versions as well, they may then enjoy the content and start checking the b&w versions as well.
