Synopsis
Tomorrow, the World! is a 1944 American black-and-white film directed by Leslie Fenton and starring Fredric March, Betty Field, and Agnes Moorehead, about a young German boy who had been active in the Hitler Youth who comes to live with his uncle in the United States, who tries to teach him to reject Nazism. It was based on the successful 1943 Broadway play.

Good solid acting from March, Field, Moorehead, and Homeier, as well as the supporting cast. Although somewhat simplistic (for time constraints of the movie) getting to the Nazi indoctrinated character of the one specific child from Germany, the point is made how governments can mold its people the wrong way. With the current climate of our country this kind of movie is amazingly poignant and worth a watch. And if I took every word today as spoken by our so-called 2019 leader I'd be thinking in the same manner that so many Germans thought that caused WW II.

Give the kid a break. He's been uprooted from nationalist values and camaraderie. He is lost in a vapid consumerist culture based on rugged individualism and competition instead of cooperation and fellowship. I feel sorry for him.
