The film takes place in Tarpon Springs Fl, where I live fifteen minutes from. The town has an older Greek background from the divers who migrated from Greece to sponge dive. There is a museum that shows this film and talks more about the overall history. The cinema is a phenomenal watch and is as informative as a documentary (as it was adopted from the book). Great for old souls.
