the fact that Lenny bruce and his wife are in this is reason enough for it to get a high rating from me,. the camp and historical value are there.. it's got the barfly thing going for it,. admitted,. you must like Lenny Bruce,. or this genre to enjoy this,. but if you do,. you will be thrilled. the bit parts,. the lingo,. the actors,. the bad and good acting,. it's funny if anything,. there's even animal acting! I enjoyed it's cheesiness and give it a four stars for time capsule camp!

Story and screenplay by Lenny Bruce who also costars. Produced by George Weiss of "Glen or Glenda" infamy. Directed by Phil Tucker who also was responsible for "The Cape Canaveral Monsters" and "Robert Monster." The result is just what you would expect - drop-dead awful. What pretends to be a plot centers around goings on at a crooked taxi dance joint. There is nothing which resembles acting. There are no production values, unless you consider sets which look like the backrooms of an abandoned warehouse. The sound recording is bad. (A boom mike doesn't appear to have been in the budget.)
