Synopsis

A pre-Code tale of a beautiful woman who gets and discards men for her benefit and ultimately suffers from it. Except for the holdover style of acting from silent movie days - somewhat stiff and overly histrionic - by Jason Robards, Sr., the actors were okay. Natalie Moorhead played the kind of woman she excelled at - deceitful, callous, self-absorbed, and careless. The movie could have been better without Fred Kelsey as a stupid police detective for comic relief - totally unnecessary. There is enough action and enough suspects to keep the action moving along.
