Hi, I am a producer of the experimental film written and directed by Taiwanese director. The film is completely independent and entirely self-funded. It is in post-production now and we are hoping to use some of this clip. We would like to check with you if it is free of charge to use this particular footage in our film considering that we will send it to film festivals and it is likely the film will be shown on the big screen. In addition to the interesting shots of destruction at and near ground zero, this film hints at the undercurrent of guilt that was the american aftermath of the first use of atomic weapons. Twice in the film it is stated that the bombs were exploded at sufficient altitude that most of the fallout would be dispersed in the stratosphere. Then an interviewee is asked about the rumors of deadly rays in the area, to which he replies that he believes they are just rumors, since he and others were in the blast area soon afterward, and had experienced no ill effects.
