Bill Cody plays the stalwart, decent, soft-talking and tongue-tied when talking to a pretty woman guy he always plays. Andy Shuford has a natural grace as the kid who arrives in town to find that his father, who has just been swindled out of his ranch. has just been "killed." It looks more like murdered to everyone else, by swindler William L. Thorne, a well-played villain with the right combination of nastiness and oiliness. Doris Hill plays the sweet love interest. The plot has a few original twists and turns which keep the action moving along at a good pace.
