Very enjoyable mixture between murder mystery and comedy with snappy dialogues. Well worth watching. Especially the Frankie Darro/Mantan Moreland team which did several films together. Mantan is great. he has many fans on this site and I am one of them.

The role of Rita Wilson, the prima donna radio singer was played by Lorna Gray. She would become Adrian Booth at Republic in a couple more years, appearing in Monte Hale westerns and serials. At this time, she was a contract actress who had already appeared in Columbia westerns and serials, in addition to being the comic foil of a Three Stooge comedy. In more recent years, she has been the guest of several Western and nostalgia film festivals. She was married to actor David Brian, who played Mr. District Attorney on early TV.
