Synopsis
Love Laughs at Andy Hardy is a 1946 American comedy film directed by Willis Goldbeck and starring Mickey Rooney, Lewis Stone and Bonita Granville. It was produced by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. The film is also known under its American promotional title Uncle Andy Hardy. This was the fifteenth and penultimate film in the Andy Hardy series, and the final film featuring Stone as Judge Hardy. The final installment, Andy Hardy Comes Home (1958), was released 12 years later.

This is a very well done Hardy family movie. Mickey Rooney does a great job portraying Andy, as usual. It was great to see Bonita Granville (from the wonderful Nancy Drew series) in this movie too; she does a fantastic job playing Kay. The Hardy family is as charming as they always are, but regretfully Marian is not in this production. The storyline is very entertaining and Andy learns a very valuable lesson from his new friend Coffy and, as usual, his father. This is a great family picture and a must see for all Mickey Rooney fans and anyone whoever has been, or plans on being, in love.
