Dale Evans in a non-western singing role. She shows off her saucy side and excellant pop music singing voice as well as comedic flair in this light weight little trifle. Arthur Lake is his bumbling self as her pianist suitor and while you can't help seeing "Dagwood Bumstead" he's very funny. Lionel Stander and George Meeker, both cast to type are perfect in their parts. Paul Hurst and Emmet Lynn do very broad comedic turns as well. This TV print is not bad, and the sound is superior. This was a feel good picture that would put a smile on your face as you left the theatre during the days of WW…

I agree with the previous reviewer "bobsluckycat" on everything except the Arthur Lake character. I find him to be be a petulant, whiny, man-child with lots of education and musical talent, but lacking in his understanding of real life - it gets on my nerves. No doubt others like "bobsluckycat" will find him amusing - a hot Dale Evans even falls in love with him - great fantasies in the movies. Nevertheless, an enjoyable hour, particularly watching Dale Evans and Lionel Stander.
