This had a good plot, which progressed nicely to a good conclusion. The acting was fine for this action film.

Why do cowboys always dismount so far from where they are going? And if they carry guns, why do they fist fight? Especially Rangers making an arrest? This movie didn't keep my short attention. Not enough western jargon I guess.

Dave O'Brien, Jim Newill and lanky comic relief Guy Wilkerson star in one of PRC's Texas Rangers movies. Nothing great here in a standard plot - bad guy saloon owner I. Stanford Jolley is stealing cattle and horses and selling them and has amassed a small fortune. He is aided by a wonderfully played comic, slow-thinking, not that vicious, guitar-picking Charles King, Jr. (far from his usual herd-edged bad guy persona), Reed Howes, Budd Buster and Kermit Maynard..Ellen Hall is rather good as the tough cutie ranch owner wh is slowly being ruined by the crooks.
