Synopsis
When Blackton outbids Bill Carson. Bill suspects he will have to rustle cattle to fulfill the contract. So Bill arrives posing as an Mexican. When he rustles the cattle from the rustlers, it gets him into the gang. Hoping to bring them all to justice, he is in trouble when his true identity is revealed.

A typical western plot - cattle rustling - enlivened with both humor and drama from Tim McCoy - the humor as he doubles as a Mexican named Miguel. Both villains are well played by Ted Adams and Forrest Tucker. Dorothy Short plays the obligatory pretty woman every western needed, in love with ranch hand and undercover detective Dave O'Brien )her husband in real life). Art Davis sings and yodels a cowboy type song for a short musical interlude. The action is non-stop for an entertaining 56 minutes.

Tim McCoy as Miguel is almost beyond belief so much so that this might qualify as a cowboy comedy. But it is a typical "oater" for Saturday matinee fare and should bring back memories. Pretty good for that era and worth watching, if for no other reason than to see McCoy attempting to portray a Mexican with a bad accent.

They got me, I thought it might be a comedy with a name like "Code of the Cactus". But they were serious, more or less. It's okay.
